This Bowie is made to perform heavy duty and the quality value is excellent. The blade is duel edge at the tip. It is full tang blade running through the handle making it super strong. It has 5" Double guard handle with hammering custom pommel. Two horn pieces has attached strongly to the metal part of handle with three metal (copper) rivets. The blade is 12" long from guard to tip which is made of Highly Graded Carbon (Steel 5160 or car spring) with balance oil temper on the edge therefore it is very strong. It has been built to withstand a lot of work and overwork. The blade is semi-polished which is better for jungle /forest use. This blade can be used to chop wood or bone and cleaning bushes. It is about 17" in overall length (tip to pommel)
Material Used Highly Graded Carbon Steel (spring, 5160), Water Buffalo Leather for Scabbard(outside) and Horn for the Handle, white metal and "Laha" (Nepali Traditional Glue).

Care instructions
Keep your blades healthy with proper regular cleaning after every use and the oil it with food safe mineral or coconut oil, it will prevent the coming on the blade which will keep your blade safe for life.
If you have seen rust accidentally then use WD40 to remove it .Never store your knife for long time in leather sheath. Leather can absorb water which will rust the knife. Always clean the blade after using and apply oil or wax (please use cooking oil on Chef Knife) before you store it, for its longer life and durability
The leather can be treated from time to time with a natural balm for leather products with bee wax.
Sharpening of the knife can be done with carborundum sanders or diamond sanders.
