This is one of the traditional type of khukuri and EX-GURKHA KHUKURI HOUSE has endeavored making this khukuri a modification as a customer demand. This is 13 inch blade royal historical kukri. The blade is similar to Angkhola Village kukri with one full angkhola/Fuller (Chirra) on the blade so it's quit heavy then other 8 inch blade kukri with balance oil temper. This blade can use for every day hard working. There is blocker on the handle for safe to hand. The handle is made us rosewood with two revirt, full tang blade with gripper so it's very comfortable and strong. This is the most beautiful khukuri we carry and it is also very useful and unique! The craftsmanship on this knife is amazing so if you are looking for the finest quality khukuri you will not be disappointed! The blade comes two pockets on the back of the scabbard which hold a blunt steel called "chakmak" for sharpening the blade or for striking spark from flint and a little knife known as "karda" used for skinning,cutting paper and opening later. The notch (kaura or kaudi) in the blade near the hilt of most khukuris serves as conduit for the blood on the blade to drip out, thus preventing it from soiling the hilt, as well as a device for catching and neutralizing and enemy blade. The handle is more practical, more beautiful.

Care instructions
Keep your blades healthy with proper regular cleaning after every use and the oil it with food safe mineral or coconut oil, it will prevent the coming on the blade which will keep your blade safe for life.
If you have seen rust accidentally then use WD40 to remove it .Never store your knife for long time in leather sheath. Leather can absorb water which will rust the knife. Always clean the blade after using and apply oil or wax (please use cooking oil on Chef Knife) before you store it, for its longer life and durability
The leather can be treated from time to time with a natural balm for leather products with bee wax.
Sharpening of the knife can be done with carborundum sanders or diamond sanders.
