This is 13 Inch blade Gurkha WW Machete kukri. Not everyone needs a machete Kukri, but if you do, you need it for a reason. Designed for utility, the Machete Kukri is based on a traditional tool Home land of Gurkhas, with subtle updates for modern use, including an ergonomic handle shape and hefty full tang construction to stand up to repeated heavy use. Its distinctive shape—pointed tip, wide midsection, narrow neck near the handle—comes from centuries of use as a multi-purpose tool that could double as protection. This Kukri knife played a very significant role in creating the history of the Gurkha's. This Kukri was also great to use for any kind of heavy or light duty. The water poured temper on the blade makes it very strong. The handle is very stronger then world War II kukri. Basically carried in a leather case, mostly walnut wooden grip and traditionally having two small knives and the blade is made of highly graded carbon steel (mostly used in railway tracks).

Care instructions
Keep your blades healthy with proper regular cleaning after every use and the oil it with food safe mineral or coconut oil, it will prevent the coming on the blade which will keep your blade safe for life.
If you have seen rust accidentally then use WD40 to remove it .Never store your knife for long time in leather sheath. Leather can absorb water which will rust the knife. Always clean the blade after using and apply oil or wax (please use cooking oil on Chef Knife) before you store it, for its longer life and durability
The leather can be treated from time to time with a natural balm for leather products with bee wax.
Sharpening of the knife can be done with carborundum sanders or diamond sanders.
