This is 13" Light Blade Hunting Sirupate Tactical Survival Kukri, Traditional Full Tang Blocker Khukuri. This particular knifes name is come from the name of grass, siru. The shape of this khukuri blade is very much alike to the leaf of the Siru. Hence it is called Sirupate khukuri. It has straight blade and not as wide as other knives. This kind of blade very useful to light work,now day British gurkhas also use similar this kind of light blade for jungle training. The handle has full tank blade and grip (panjawal) to caught, It's very comfortable for hunting. The sheath is made of water buffalo lather and water buffalo horn is used to make handle. It has 13 long blade and 6 long handle. It weighs is 850 grams.
-Material Used Highly Graded Carbon Steel 5160, water Buffalo Leather for Scabbard and rosewood for the Handle, Brass, white metal and "Laha" ( Nepali Traditional Glue).

-Handle Circumference 4.5 Inch.

-Hardness of steel spine= 22-25 RC, belly= 45-46 RC, edge= 58-60 RC.

Care instructions
Keep your blades healthy with proper regular cleaning after every use and the oil it with food safe mineral or coconut oil, it will prevent the coming on the blade which will keep your blade safe for life.
If you have seen rust accidentally then use WD40 to remove it .Never store your knife for long time in leather sheath. Leather can absorb water which will rust the knife. Always clean the blade after using and apply oil or wax (please use cooking oil on Chef Knife) before you store it, for its longer life and durability
The leather can be treated from time to time with a natural balm for leather products with bee wax.
Sharpening of the knife can be done with carborundum sanders or diamond sanders.
