it has a full tang, is 14/12" with a blade length of 91/2". It is very stout and balance nice.This knife for its durability and versatility, it is versatile, capable of making thin slices or intricate carving, as well as chopping down a stout tree. However, it is a style of knife that one needs to practice with in order to use skillfully and safely. It is heavier than most knives with a thick blade that when swung with force is capable of severing thick branches, as well as fingers, hands, feet, bones or major arteries.
Rust free Black Customize Blade, well Oil-tempered blade. Rose wood handle attached with with 3 alley revets to handle. The Sheath is made out of water buffalo hide (leather) covered in soft wood. The sheath is Black soft natural buffalo leather.

Care instructions
Keep your blades healthy with proper regular cleaning after every use and the oil it with food safe mineral or coconut oil, it will prevent the coming on the blade which will keep your blade safe for life.
If you have seen rust accidentally then use WD40 to remove it .Never store your knife for long time in leather sheath. Leather can absorb water which will rust the knife. Always clean the blade after using and apply oil or wax (please use cooking oil on Chef Knife) before you store it, for its longer life and durability
The leather can be treated from time to time with a natural balm for leather products with bee wax.
Sharpening of the knife can be done with carborundum sanders or diamond sanders.
