This is 14" Blade Rust Free D-Guard Nepalese Chhuri Knife is one of the new items introduced by Ex Gurkha Khukuri House. It is actually a copied version of a famous knife made on demand by some regular customers. It has also been made by EGKH to exhibit the skill and standard of the company as one of the best knife makers. The usefulness of this knife goes from domestic to jungle warfare to safari to tactical. “Chhuri” in Nepalese means “Knife”. It literally means a domestic or household cutting too. Nonetheless, it also comes very handy for trekking and traveling. The 14 inch hi-carbon blade has about 6 inch long full flat tang that goes all the way through the wooden handle. The tang is further riveted to strengthen the handle. “Churi” comes with a special embossed buffalo leather scabbard with belt loop at the back to prevent scratches. “Churi” is a complete and compact mini utility tool at its very best.. Its use has varied from building, clearing, chopping firewood, digging, slaughtering animals for food, cutting meat and vegetables, skinning animals, and opening cans. Its use as a general farm and household tool. The Kukri can be use as survival knife or camping knife for outdoor lover.

Care instructions
Keep your blades healthy with proper regular cleaning after every use and the oil it with food safe mineral or coconut oil, it will prevent the coming on the blade which will keep your blade safe for life.
If you have seen rust accidentally then use WD40 to remove it .Never store your knife for long time in leather sheath. Leather can absorb water which will rust the knife. Always clean the blade after using and apply oil or wax (please use cooking oil on Chef Knife) before you store it, for its longer life and durability
The leather can be treated from time to time with a natural balm for leather products with bee wax.
Sharpening of the knife can be done with carborundum sanders or diamond sanders.
